Boutique Manager

Job Objectives:

The Boutique Manager is responsible for overall management of the boutique - retail sales and operation; and also responsible for achieving sales objectives, store profitability goals, achieving and maintaining high operational and merchandising standards, building highly motivated teams and developing associates to enable them to progress in their careers with John Hardy

Sales Management

Continuously motivate and coach sales associates to meet assigned sales and productivity goals. Provide recognition for top sales associates.
Demonstrate sales leadership for staff by playing an active role on the selling floor. The boutique manager is expected to be 80% in sales floor and 20% in the back of house.
Proactively manage the clientelling function in the store. Identify opportunities in gaining clients though community outreach and possible business partnership
Ensure that all associates are knowledgeable of all company products, company information and history. Be up-to-date with company news.
Ensure employees are provided with product knowledge to enhance our selling ceremony.
Provide feedback to direct report on product assortment, buying trends and customer requests
up to date with the market in Bali (tourist and local) to be able to strategize the sales
Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports
Meet all KPI goals

Customer Service

Ensure the highest level of customer service every day
Empower associates to make decisions in the best interest of providing good customer service.
Ensure that customer sales service is also up to the standard.

Team Management

Ensure training programs (sales techniques, customer service, policies and procedures, product knowledge)
Responsible for evaluation and development of the store team, maximizing individual potential, and ensuring succession plans.
Ensure all human resources policies and procedures are implemented, solving staff issues as appropriate.
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, peers, supervisors, and corporate office
Conduct annual performance reviews, and giving quality feedbacks to staffs.

Operations

Effective utilization of POS system and its inventory management functions
Partner up with direct report to insure appropriate assortment for the store
Determine staffing needs and create staff schedules to ensure appropriate store coverage and match to traffic
Complete all store administration in an accurate and timely fashion
Profit and Loss responsibility for the store, with particular attention given to controllable expenses, sales plan and operating profit.
It is the obligation of the manager to be fully trained in current POS systems and to insure that the staff is proficient as well.
Ensure compliance with all Internal Control procedures: Maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure monthly physical counts up to standard.
Maintain the highest standard of housekeeping and organization both on and off the sales floor.
Perform other projects, as assigned
Maintain visual merchandising standards and store condition as set forth by company.

Requirements:

Desirable 4 - 8 years retail experience in high end Jewelry, fashion or luxury goods desirable, with a proven and successful experience in managing a store/stores
Passionate about fashion and jewelry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English speaking and writing is a must; Mandarin speaker is a plus
Pleasant personality and good grooming
Computer literate
Ability to take ownership of the business
Overseas education desirable
Willing to be placed in Bali
